Abstract

Advertising are one of the tools of mass communication media that play a role in conveying messages to the public. This study exemines a public service advertisement entitled “ we are ready to learn optimally!(Public service advertising Limited face to face meetings with Mikha Tambayong)”. The advertisments describes a state of how the learning system in Indonesia during Covid-19 pandemic. The purpose of this study is to find out the social messages contained in the advertisement. The method used in this study is a semiotic analysis . The object of the study and the unit analysis in this study is “ mise an scene on publice service advertisements limited ace to face meetings with Mikha Tambayong” with semiotic    analysis of Roland Barthes. Through research with scene by scene, the result of data analysus from this study ist that we must all care about the progress and development of our children in schools, especially during the covid-19 pandemic wich has resulted in the face to face learning process becoming online learning.social message from this community service advertising video is that we must all care about the continuation of the child’s learning process in schools, especially the parenst, teachers and the party responsible for the running of a face to face learning process in schools.
